  • Bailly is open to leaving United

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has reportedly emerged as a potential target for both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Bailly is open to a move in the January transfer window after falling out of favour with Jose Mourinho, with Arsenal also monitoring the centre-back.

Bailly suffered the humiliation of being substituted after just 18 minutes against Newcastle last week.

According to the Daily Star, he could be offered an escape route by the two north London rivals.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is a big fan of the Ivory Coast global, who has become disillusioned at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho, reports the Daily Star.

Bailly cost United £30million when he joined from Villarreal in 2016, and they nearly certainly won't ask for any less from their Premier League rivals.

'The manager stated the last game he doesn't have defenders who can play the ball out from the back and he's been made the fall guy here'.
