The Internet Reacts To Disney's Live-Action 'Aladdin' Teaser Trailer

The mouse house has released a very short teaser of their upcoming remake of "Aladdin". Not one to disappoint, Disney has stayed true to their word and today, they've shared a mini trailer.

Besides for its award-winning music, it's most widely recognized feature is undoubtedly the late Robin William's manic turn as the rubber-faced Genie.

The first teaser image for Disney's live-action Aladdin film has been released.

The Aladdin reboot had its many issues which were a bit hilarious for us to watch but now finally, we know its happening for good.

Smith voices Genie, the comical blue Jinn who grants three wishes to whoever possesses his magical lamp. And we have to say, it doesn't look too shabby.

The full film is due out May 24, 2019 internationally.

The big difference here is that Aladdin is directed by Guy Ritchie, as in the guy behind Snatch (yay!) and King Arthur (boo!). Nearly certainly, the answer is no, but with Guy Ritchie (Snatch, King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword) at the helm, we still aren't ruling it out.

This is a true tease, showing just a brief look at Massoud grabbing the lamp and a few shots of the movie's Arabian setting.

According to The Hollywood Report, the "Aladdin" cast list also includes Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Jasmine), Marwan Kenzari (Jafar) and Billy Magnussen and Nasim Pedrad as Jasmine's friends.
