After revoking security clearance from former Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan, Donald Trump reportedly is prepared to exact the same vengeance on other individuals who he sees as political enemies.

On Friday, Trump said he would likely remove the security clearance of Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, who has been targeted by Trump supporters, in part because his wife worked for a company that produced a dossier alleging Russian Federation had incriminating evidence against the now president. Ohr's connection to the matter was as an early contact in 2016 for Christopher Steele, the former British intelligence agent who investigated Trump's ties to Russian Federation.

Others who have earned their security clearance are also speaking out against the move.

Lemon further accused Trump of revoking Brennan's security clearance as a way to "silence" a heavy critic.

"I think Bruce Ohr is a disgrace", the president said of the career Justice Department official, who conservatives believe was a conduit for anti-Trump information to reach the Federal Bureau of Investigation during and after the campaign, including the Steele dossier containing salacious and unproven allegations about Mr. Trump.

"If anything, I'm giving him a bigger voice", he said Friday, according to The Washington Post. But Trump said Wednesday he is reviewing the clearances of several other former top intelligence and law enforcement officials, including former FBI Director Comey and current senior Justice Department official Bruce Ohr.

Asked whether Trump plans to yank other clearances, Conway said: "That's up to the president". Report pegs military parade cost at M MORE's security clearance.

"I call it the rigged witch hunt", Trump told the Wall Street Journal.

Trump called Ohr a "disgrace" outside the White House and said, "I suspect I will be taking it away very quickly".

"Mr. Brennan's lying and recent conduct characterized by increasingly frenzied commentary is wholly inconsistent with access to the nations' most closely held secrets", Trump said.

That directly contradicted a July 2017 statement from Trump Jr. - written with the consultation of the White House - that claimed the meeting had been primarily about adoption.

After Trump lambasted Brennan earlier today, Lake spoke to CNN's Brooke Baldwin and explained that its part of the president's plan for casting the former Central Intelligence Agency director as a new enemy he can rally his base against.

He wrote in Thursday's New York Times that Trump "clearly has become more desperate to protect himself and those close to him".

Putin told reporters in Helsinki, while standing next to Trump, that he had wanted the former NY businessman to win the White House.
