At the Square Enix E3 Showcase 2018 on Monday, June 11 (June 12, Manila time), Square Enix had a number of trailers and information drops for viewers. However, when it was all said and done, Square Enix had very little to offer. And whatever The Quiet Man is, we assume it's coming from the West if only because of the live-action European actors. In the short teaser we got, it looks like Babylon's Fall is a melee action game with a healthy dose of fantasy elements thrown in there. The teaser was a unusual mixture of live action and in-game graphics, but the central gimmick seems to be that the main character is deaf. We already know about some of the big titles to expect, but there should be a few surprises as well (Final Fantasy 16?).
Developer Platinum Games, which also made Nier: Automata, gave a glimpse of its upcoming project with a timeline-centric trailer.
On the Western front we got all of the guns and open-world action with new looks at Shadow of The Tomb Raider (still better than Uncharted) and Just Cause 4. The December 8 release date does seem to suggest a very optimistic view of its chances though. The dialogue was pretty very bad though and it wasn't made any better by the British-accented voiceovers. Nobody was forcing them to host a press conference, but when you hold one, people naturally have expectations.
