Signer Demi Lovato has announced that she's cancelled her London concert at the O2 arena after fears over her vocal cords.
'I write this through tears of frustration and sadness that I have to postpone my concert in London at the O2 tonight due to being very, very since and with swollen vocal chords that were examined by a doctor.
The singer-songwriter took to Instagarm earlier today, June 10, to tell fans that she has to sadly postpone her London concert that was scheduled for later tonight. "I'm so so sorry to disappoint any of my fans in London that have traveled hours to be here by plane or auto, and to all of that fans that got these tickets for their birthday, holiday or any special occasion", she added. "It breaks my heart to let you down".
Signing off, Demi reassured fans she would be rescheduling the show for 25th June and thanked fans for their understanding. "Just know that I feel your frustration and I wouldn't do this unless I absolutely had to".
"So so so gutted and I can't make the new date. Probably can't even come to the next date FUMING - understand you're not well but not a few hours before the event".
Demi took to Twitter to inform everyone that her vocal cords became super swollen, so much so that performing could have actually damaged her voice indefinitely. "I can't do the show tonight because I have no voice", she says in the clip.
Lovato also posted a story video on Insta, and in her raspy voice, she said: 'Hey guys, I can not do the show tonight because I have no voice, and I always wanted to play the O2 so I am really upset and I am really sad to let my fans down because I know some of you traveled hours and some of you flew to see the show. But, I really can not go on, and I am really sorry'. "Get well soon honey that's what matters", one Instagram user wrote, adding: "We care about you more than the show". Hopefully I will be able to perform at the O2, very soon.
