Samsung Unveils New PRO Endurance MicroSD Cards

Samsung is unveiling their new line of microSDXC cards specifically for security cameras.

This is where endurance comes into play and where Samsung has announced their latest PRO Endurance microSD cards.

The Samsung PRO Endurance memory cards are priced £30.99 for 32GB, £58.99 for 64GB and £111.99 for 128GB. Limited warranty applies for all of them - 2, 3 and 5 years respectively.

The Pro Endurance cards can deliver read speeds of up to 100 MB/s with support for FHD recording and 4K with write speeds of up to 30MB/s.

Samsung says its PRO Endurance cards also offer 25 times higher endurance than previous speed-focused cards and are water, temperature, magnet and X-ray proof.

As for full-HD recording, the 32GB variant can store up to 17,520 hours of footage, the 64GB model can take in up to 26,280 hours, and the 128GB version can fit in as much as 43,800 hours.

"Consumers want to feel assured with their video surveillance solutions, and the need for longer-lasting, higher performing memory cards that can withstand extreme conditions and capture critical moments is at an all-time high".

Pricing starts at $24.99 for 32GB, then it's $44.99 for 64GB, and finally $89.99 for the top-end 128GB capacity.
