The first content update is set to arrive in early May 2018 and is called "The Hungering Deep.' This content pack brings a new threat to Sea of Thieves" world that players will need to work together to fight.
Weekly events will introduce new mechanics, or see fun goals for players to achieve in the world. In addition, some new weekly events with new mechanics will be added. "As we've always said, launch is just the start for Sea of Thieves, and we are going to grow and evolve the game with feedback from our community".
