  • Bill Cosby defense challenges Janice Dickinson

Women who say comedian Bill Cosby knocked them out with intoxicants and sexually assaulted them decades ago are finally getting a chance to confront him - and they aren't holding back.

Dickinson says she wrote about the assault in her book, but Cosby and his lawyers pressured her and the publisher to remove the details. You said you were going to help me.

Janice Dickinson walks through Montgomery County Courthouse during a break in the retrial on Thursday.

"Drew", Dickinson said she told Dr.

The witness that followed, unfazed by the famous defense attorney, called out her cross-examiner for rolling his eyes at her.

She is one of five additional accusers whom prosecutors are calling to the stand to show Cosby had a history of drugging and molesting women.

Prosecutors are calling Dickinson and different accusers to the witness stand to indicate the 80-year-old comic has a historical past of drugging and molesting girls. He says their encounter was consensual.

The first trial ended in a mistrial after jurors failed to agree on a verdict following five days of deliberations.

A Cosby spokeswoman dismissed the women's testimony as "prosecution by distraction".

Heidi Thomas, Chelan Lasha, and Janice Baker-Kinney have also testified in the retrial, each delineating that Cosby gave them drugs or wine and then assaulted them in separate incidents in 1984, 1986, and 1982, respectively.

One woman testifying on Wednesday pointedly called Cosby a "serial rapist".

This item has been corrected to show that the alleged assault of Dickinson happened in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, not California. "I wanted to punch him in the face", Dickinson said. "I wanted the paycheck from the book". "I was thinking, 'What the heck, what the heck is he doing?' I was just in shock".

Once at the hotel, she said she tested out her vocal range with Cosby's musical director, watched Cosby perform and then joined the two men for dinner at the hotel.

She had never seen Bill Cosby from that day until Tuesday, when she sat about 15 feet away from him in courtroom A. Throughout her testimony, Cosby remained silent, sitting slightly slumped in a chair located by his defense team. It was there, Dickinson claims, that Cosby offered her a blue pill to deal with cramps from her period.

They went to a room, and she began to feel really light headed and couldn't get the right words out, she testified. "And I said, 'No, I will not, I will fly first class'".

Cosby's musical director left, Dickinson said, and Cosby told her: "We'll continue this conversation upstairs".

Dickinson had a Polaroid camera with her, she said, and snapped photos of Cosby in the room wearing a colorful robe and talking on the telephone. There, she said, he got on top of her had sex with her while she was unable to consent. "His robe opened, and he smelled like cigars, espresso and body odor", she recalled.

"I felt comfortable to accept his invitation because I saw this as the next step further my career", she said.

Defence lawyers were expected to cross-examine Dickinson later Thursday.

Also Thursday, Cosby's lawyer Tom Mesereau completed his cross-examination of Janice Baker-Kinney, who testified Wednesday that Cosby gave her pills and had sex with her in Reno, Nev., in the 1980s.

Janice Baker-Kinney will return to the witness stand on Thursday after punctuating her first two hours of testimony at Cosby's sexual assault retrial in suburban Philadelphia with a firm declaration: "I was raped".

As for Allred and the attention she invites, Lasha and Baker-Kinney both said they had neither paid nor been paid by her. Baker-Kinney said she had "no clue" about the $100 million fund; Lasha, asked about whether she was filmed for the new Netflix documentary Seeing Allred, replied, "I don't even have Netflix". She came forward in April 2015, a few months after lawyer Gloria Allred proposed that Cosby set aside a chunk of his fortune to compensate accusers. Cosby by no means agreed to that.

Baker-Kinney told the jury she was motivated by a desire to help other accusers, and that she's only relied on Allred as a media adviser and point of contact "to make sure I didn't get tripped up".

Prosecutors are building a case that the man once revered as "America's Dad" was one of Hollywood's biggest predators long before he met the chief accuser in his retrial. Many remember waking up the following morning unsure as to how they arrived at the state in which they found themselves: With clothes in disarray or removed, feeling sore, or sticky-or both. She was picked up by a driver in a black sedan and driven out of the city to a ranch-style house where, to her surprise, Cosby personally answered the door to her.
