Google lanzará oficialmente su función Lens para dispositivos iOS de Apple en los próximos días.

Aseguran que Google Lens tiene la capacidad de hacer el reconocimiento en una foto que tiene números de teléfono o una dirección, para posteriormente almacenar la información entre los contactos del usuario.

Google Lens no llegará en forma de aplicación individual.

Lens debutó en octubre pasado en Pixel 2 y Pixel 2 XL.

Al tiempo que se desvelaba la llegada para todos los terminales Android, extendiendo su uso así fuera del terreno de los Pixel, la compañía anunciaba a través de Twitter que llegaría también a iOS "pronto", pero sin detallar una fecha exacta.

De manera paulatina, se irá ampliando a los diferentes teléfonos y sistemas operativos.

Para acceder a la función en iOS, hay que iniciar la aplicación Google Fotos, seleccionar una foto, luego tocar el ícono Google Lens. Así como enfatiza la compañía en su tweet, esta característica todavía es una vista previa y posiblemente no habrán más características que estén disponibles.
