El presidente Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, anunció este miércoles que ha solicitado al ministro de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo, Javier Barreda, que convoque de manera inmediata al Consejo Nacional de Trabajo (CNT) para evaluar la remuneración mínima vital.

Esta peculiar propuesta se da en medio de la segunda amenaza de vacancia presidencial.

Luego, cuando Alfonso Grados era todavía el encargado del Ministerio de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo (MTPE), manifestó una opinión similar.

"El aumento del salario mínimo vital es un tema que siempre está latente y los ingresos deben estar sujetos a determinados ajustes periódicamente", dijo en diálogo con El Comercio. Esta posibilidad lo anunció el mandatario desde mediados del año pasado. Hace un mes el ministro señaló que es necesario poder evaluar cuál será el impacto económico de esta decisión.

Cabe precisar que a nivel del CNT, en una comisión técnica, se define cuál es la situación de la Remuneración Mínima Vital (RMV) para un eventual incremento.
