The trailers for Black Panther don't even begin to do the movie justice. With her level headed demeanor, formidable spy-skills, and tragic past, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow has been a fan favorite since her first appearance in Iron Man 2.

Black Panther is a pleasant film, directed by Ryan Coogler, who managed to capture the essence of Africa; from its rich minerals to its diverse languages, and multicoloured and textured fashion used to differentiate the tribes which are hubbed by the continent.

"There's nothing [Marvel] can't do".

Not only is it the biggest global opening for a movie with a predominantly Black cast, but it's the biggest domestic opening for a Black director for Ryan Coogler, nearly doubling F. Gary Gray's Fate of the Furious haul.

Mr Kevin Feige, the prodigy who runs Marvel, and Mr Alan F. Horn, Disney's movie chairman, have delivered one juggernaut after another.

Moviegoers across the country were so thrilled for the Marvel movie, they attended screenings by dressing up in costume. According to the media, "It has taken a decade, 18 films - most good, some great, none bad - hundreds of actors, thousands of crew and billions of dollars for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to arrive at this point". If he makes it through the Avengers films (assuming he shows up in them), a Black Panther sequel seems inevitable, and having him be an integral part of whatever that sequel is could be the way to go, especially given his expertise on Wakanda in the comics. "A movie like "Black Panther" is a cultural event that nothing on the small screen can really match in that way".

"Unlike a dictator or a president that you see now, he (T'Challa) puts on a suit to deal with the situation".

Over the weekend, every theater showing "Black Panther" at Amstar and Regal Starlight were near-capacity.

She added: "There are still millions of people who live in communities where they can live their whole lives not having contact or exposure with people who aren't like them, whether that is race or religion or simply lifestyle". "That is an important shift in the way in which we are seeing the narratives, but also seeing the characters in terms of African American imagery". "I loved this movie and I know it will inspire people of all backgrounds to dig deep and find the courage to be heroes of their own stories". "I still remember the excitement people had seeing Malcolm X".
