  • Apple Adds Three HomePod Tutorial Videos to its YouTube Channel

If you don't feel like yelling at your HomePod, Apple's second video shows you the different ways you can poke it to make the smart speaker do what you want.

The next video explains how to use the HomePod's touch controls.

Munster argues that Apple will probably improve the HomePod's options over time, making it "vastly more useful and integrated with your other Apple devices". MacRumors spotted the trio, which explain how to use Siri, adjust the settings, and how to use the touch controls.

Either as a result of this fact, or simply because it's keen to add more content to its somewhat-new Support channel on YouTube, Apple has published three new videos created to help new HomePod owners get familiar with their speakers' full capabilities. Apple also shows how to activate Siri with the touch controls and more.

The first nearly needs no video introduction, since asking Siri to play a favorite song or album is as simple as, well, asking Siri to do that. Double-tapping it advances a track, and triple-tapping it goes back one track.

The final video outlines how to adjust the speaker's settings using one's phone: going to the Home App on one's iPhone will allow you to change where it's located and what account it's linked to, and you can also turn off explicit songs.
